Portland Oregon Maternity Photography // Jennifer H // Cathedral Park & Portland Waterfront

Some Monday’s are just a drag, you start off on a weird note and it continues on… that’s how my day has gone already and I’m not a fan. So in an effort to turn it all around, I’m sharing one of my favorite shoots of 2018 with my wonderful friend who just so happens to be an amazing make up artist, hairstylist and salon owner ((Black Lotus Salon)). She did the hair and make up for my wedding and absolutely killed it! So when she told me she was pregnant there was no doubt that we would go on an epic maternity photoshoot adventure all over Portland! We started at Cathedral Park which is such a solid and unique location followed by the Portland Waterfront which can be more unpredictable but it ended up being absolutely gorgeous!! That combination of the park and the water was a dream! And of course because she was pregnant, that’s the perfect excuse to end the day with Voodoo Doughnuts! No photos of the doughnuts because I started eating them the second I got them… but I can tell you they were epic.

Now that I’m thinking of only doughnuts.. I better go before this blog devolves into me just talking about desserts.
