About Stevi
Things you absolutely must know about me, I have my little tribe of people starting with my husband, our pets, both our families and some incredible friends. I love them with all my heart and strive every day to make them happy. If you hire me to be your photographer, you aren’t just a client you are in the tribe. I will share everything with you, my honest opinions, my sometimes wild ideas and any and all shoot knowledge I’ve got! I’ve photographed 70+ weddings and even more various shoots, I’ve got some stories to tell, some well earned tips and tricks to share and a handy kit of just about anything you might need in the middle of a shoot or wedding. I won’t be just your photographer, I will be your friend, your helper and your hype man throughout any shoot!
Outside of photography, I am a dog lover through and through. I have a golden retriever named Happy who will probably have his own about me page on my website soon, he’s that great. If given the opportunity I would take him everywhere, on every trail, into every home depot and on every shoot! Having him has increased my passion in photographing and documenting people’s relationships with their pets as well as helping pets in need whenever I can.
Additionally, I am someone who doesn’t take themselves too seriously. I’ve found a lot of time can be wasted worrying about what others think or trying to be someone you aren’t. I’m goofy, relaxed, likely too lazy to wear any makeup and constantly on the search for a pair of sweatpants that look nice enough to replace all my other pants.

About Sessions
Whether they are seniors, family, maternity, lifestyle or branding sessions these sessions are quite similar in how they are prepared for and photographed. When you contact me about your session we will begin planning either in person, over the phone or via email to find the perfect location, date and time. Meeting in person has proved to be the easiest and most fun way to connect and get to know one another before the shoot. We can come up with some more personal touches and unique ideas together this way! Most sessions are scheduled in and around the Eugene area, but for the right shoot and a fun idea I’m always game to travel, don’t be afraid to ask. The shoot itself is as fun and relaxed as a shoot can be, I don’t stress about timing nor that perfect moment but strive to both have a nice experience you will enjoy and get genuine moments as well as some posed images. Typically I give you plenty of poses and direction early on with less and less as everyone gets more comfortable. This ensures we get a lovely mixture of posed, candid and totally goofy shots. Oh, and if you have a dog. Bring your dog!
A micro wedding is a whole different animal, a much lengthier process. But entirely worth it! Most couples contact their wedding photographer about 6-12 months in advance so many of those popular summer dates get snatched up early so act fast! To begin the process, we meet in Eugene or facetime to start getting to know one another and learn all about what wedding plans are already in place. From that first meeting, contracts are signed, deposits paid and planning begins for the engagement session! Engagement sessions can be anything you want them to be, want to go snowshoeing? Let’s do it! Want to escape to the Oregon Coast? YES! Want to wear flower crowns and dance in a meadow? OH I’m already there! Just a few ideas.. Once the engagement session is done, we begin planning for the wedding day. I’m never one to limit emails/texts I’m happy to help, to throw in my two cents or to walk through a venue and find the perfect spot for family photos! Whatever your big day looks like, I already love it and cannot wait to photograph it!

Gosh, where to start?! Two very important facts about Stevi... 1. She's so much fun to work with. 2. She is incredibly talented. My wife and I asked Stevi to do our wedding photography, including an engagement shoot. We decided to do the engagement shoot at the coast in a few different locations. What a blast that day was! I truly feel out of my element when having my picture taken, but Stevi made me feel so comfortable, and it came across in the photos! We had so much fun exploring and trying different things out.
