Pleasant Hill Oregon Wedding // Love and Light Ceremony // Katie & Adam

Typically a wedding last just one day and we pack photos, celebrating, speeches, tears, food, more photos and maybe some more photos all into one day. This makes for a crazy long day and sometimes the bride and groom don’t get much of a chance to share stories, say hi to everyone, all the while making lasting memories. For that reason, I LOVED to see Katie and Adam shake things up a bit. Instead of one day with everything packed into it, they split the wedding between a Friday and Saturday. These photos are from Friday’s ‘Love and Light Ceremony’ where the couple read their vows, told stories and heard wonderful memories and toasts from their closest friends and family. This was an intimate, candle lit evening with just the closest of friends/family. I loved seeing how relaxed, touching and wonderful this evening was and I was honored to be a part of such a wonderful day!
