Category Archives: Still Life Weeks ago, I had the wonderful opportunity to go to Dallas, Texas to take some lovely family photos! I couldn’t have been more excited to do this, and to plan out the photos in the Dallas Arboretum. This was an absolutely amazing park filled with amazing plants, trees, water features and most importantly, Chihuly glass…  It’s that time of the year again, spring time in Eugene. For all the complaining I do about the weather and headaches it causes around here, I do absolutely love Eugene in the late Spring and Summer time! Everything is green, there is less of a chance of rain and the sun finally shines…  Macrophotography is close-up photography, typically of very small and detailed subjects. A macro photograph is classically defined as one in which the size of the subject on the negative (in film) is greater than life size. In the modern, digital age, it is a finished photograph of a subject that is greater than life… |
