Snow and maternity photos go hand in hand in my head. For some unknown reason. But I was delighted when it worked out to photograph my soon to be sister & brother in law while the family was in SunRiver for the holidays. It has been really fun to see how loved these two little girls are before they are even born. It was freezing cold, snowing the whole time and we definitely got soaking wet, but it was 110% worth it in my opinion! I love the opportunity to get more adventurous with photos and try out scenery and surroundings that are completely new to me! Snow is certainly not a familiar sight, but I’m loving it more and more!
Somehow, the end of 2016 of here, despite it only being May like yesterday… While this year has been pretty stressful, scary and downright depressing in many ways. There are so many things to be grateful for! For Stevi Sayler Photography, 2016 rocked!! Not only did I have a record number of shoots and weddings, but I was also able to completely cut away my part time job/safety net and completely go full time as a photographer! It has taken years of hard work to get to this point and it’s wild to think that when I wake up in the morning I get to do what I’m passionate about! I have you guys to thank for that! You keep me going even when things get tough! It’s hard to convey in writing how I feel, it’s a funny mix of awe, delight and fear! haha But I know 2017 will bring wonderful things! I have nearly half my summer booked up already and that includes some fun, unique travel, some out of the ordinary shoots and definitely about a million more photo shoots of my puppy. So watch out 2017, I’m comin’ for you!
Just a day late! I’ve been enjoying family time and running around with a wild puppy who wants nothing more than to tear all our wrapping paper into tiny pieces and spread it all over the house!
Hope you had an amazing Christmas!!
Now onto the new year!
What could be better than family Christmas photos at the Christmas Tree Farm?! How lucky am I to have awesome locations like Northern Lights Christmas Tree Farm a short drive away! For a small fee, photographers can take advantage of such cute photo ops and explore the fields of trees!! I had so much fun with the sweet family, it’s wonderful to get to photograph a family multiple times and see how they have grown and changed together!!
I’ve posted a new blog post every day this week! Holy cow! Would you believe it?!
I just have so many wonderful clients and awesome shoots to share! This shoot in particular was super fun, totally easy and just a pleasure! You can’t go wrong with a group of happy people who love their jobs!! I had the pleasure of photographing the staff and office of A Child’s Best Smile last year and has so much fun, so I jumped at getting to do updated photos this year! So nice, welcoming and not to mention their office has a tiny little door for kids or immature photographers to walk through!
