Oh my goodness you guys, check out this amazing wedding! From the moment I walked onto the venue, I knew it would be a wonderful wedding. The sun was shining, the temperature was perfect and the set up had already begun to shape into something beautiful. Casey and Niko chose purple and blue as their primary wedding colors and used a peacock feather as decoration and inspiration. The rich colors and the stunning surroundings made for a beautiful set up. I couldn’t wait to see what the rest of the wedding had in store.
Casey and Niko both seemed anxious and excited for their wedding day to finally be here. There were a few jitters but it seemed their only fears were tripping or falling down the aisle or concerns that the wedding would not go as planned. Not a moment of doubt. Their family came together, rallied around them and made sure things went perfectly and that they knew they were supported and loved. The ceremony had extra touches and their own traditions that made a typical wedding ceremony something special and uniquely theirs. The reception was laid back and perfect, they had a mexican food buffet which was stellar because I almost never see fun ethnic food at weddings and who doesn’t love wedding day tacos?! After dinner and some cake, I was able to steal Casey & Niko away for a quick sunset portrait session where I got some of my favorite shots of the day, perhaps of ever.. Following the quick shoot out in the gorgeous wooded area behind the venue, was a whole lot of dancing, toasts and smiling faces.
